The Lighthouse Quest is a lengthy mission that introduces the player to the mysterious grumpy man in the lighthouse. The player will travel all around Diamond Beach and meet lots of new characters on their journey, all of which culminates with a cosmetic reward: the Heart of the Ocean Necklace.

Begin the Quest
Approach the lighthouse and knock on the door. Besides the faint sound of a cat meowing, you will be met with silence. Whoever locked themselves inside the lighthouse clearly isn't up for a chat.
Since no one answers, fly over to Crowned Casuals, a store in town. It is one of the closest buildings facing the lighthouse. An anxious vacationer waits for you to approach her. She expresses some fear against the lighthouse and believes the building is haunted since a mysterious light turns on every night.
Return to the lighthouse. You must knock multiple times to finally grab the attention of the grumpy person inside. It took us around 8-10 knocks to grab the person's attention. Each knock will result in a more frustrated response. Just keep knocking until the person insides expresses their love for ice cream.

Get some Strawberry Ice Cream
Fly back to town and head over to Frostbite, aka Diamond Beach's ice cream shop. Speak to Darla inside and choose the About the lighthouse... dialogue option. She informs you that you must speak to the employee that works the late shifts, since the grumpy person in the lighthouse only appears at night.
Darla is referring to Luke, who evidently works the night shifts based on the work schedule inside the shop. Luke can be found at the docks on the large, faraway island where the trolley cart system connects. He will tell you the grumpy lighthouse man's favorite ice cream flavor: Strawberry ice cream in a cup.
Fly back to Frostbite and speak to Darla again. Order Strawberry ice cream in a cup and take the frozen delight back to the grumpy man in the lighthouse. The sweet smell of the ice cream will finally make the man relent, and he opens the door allowing you inside.

Solve the Secret Cave Puzzle
Place the ice cream on the table inside the lighthouse. Don't bother trying to climb the stairs because the game will knock you down. Instead, take note of the Captain's Notebook next to the ice cream. The notebook is locked, but the diary key can be found under the cloth on the wooden boat, inside the lighthouse. Approach the cloth and press/tap it to uncover the key. Grab the key and unlock the notebook.
You can open the diary to learn more about the Captain, but all you need from this step is the username: ArrShiverMeWhiskers. This next step occurs outside of Royale High and on the Roblox platform. You don't technically need to perform this step since we have the information below. But nonetheless, this is a cool aspect of the quest.
ArrShiverMeWhiskers is actually a user on Roblox. You can find him by tapping the link provided or searching the username on Roblox.
The most important text on ArrShiverMeWhisker's Roblox page is the quote below:
“When I arise from the sea, Starfish below quake at the sight of me! My teeth Pearl-y and sublime, my Tail long, glistening, it shines! In the misty blue brine, I search for Sailboats, they'll all be mine mine mine!”
Find the Captain's Satchel
Within the quote above is the code to the secret puzzle for the final step of the quest. Take note of this, but for now head to the cave below the lighthouse.
Travel all the way down until you've found the puzzle on the wall. The correct code from top to bottom is as such:
- Starfish
- Pearl
- Tail
- Sailboat
Enter the cave that opened up to find a sunken ship. Approach the light on the sunken ship and knock. The grumpy voice inside the sunken ship will want something chocolatey, so head back to Frostbite and order Chocolate ice cream in a cone.
With the ice cream in hand, head back to the sunken ship and give the grumpy voice the ice cream. Grab the Captain's Satchel near the turned-over chair, behind the table. With satchel in hand, head back to the lighthouse.
Give the satchel to Captain Whiskers, which will begin an emotional conversation between the two of you. Captain Whiskers will thank you for your trouble and reward you with the Heart of the Ocean Necklace, thus concluding the lighthouse quest.
